5/15/2022 - We were often asked if we were journaling during Bob's illness with Frontotemporal Dementia. Who had time? After he passed, our primary physician heavily encouraged my mom to write our story. There was so little known about FTD at the time.
Once we committed, we made a goal to help one other family. As we celebrate the book turning 15 years old, we can proudly say that it is available all over the world in print, e-book, and audiobook; numerous families have reached out to us to share their stories, awareness has been raised and donations have been made to The Association for Frontotemporal Degeneration (AFTD) for each book sold.
So much has been learned about FTD since Bob's diagnosis in 2003, and while there's much more to learn, we're so honored to have a small part in supporting AFTD's mission. #endFTD
